TOPIC: "BLESSED ARE THOSE IN GOD"

Jesus does not desire for us to cause conflict, separation, animosity, withhold compassion, or harbor malicious intentions towards others.

Key Verse:

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God" (Matthew 5:7-9 KJV).

BIBLE READING: Matthew 5:3-12 (KJV)

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for their's is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you" (Matthew 5:3-12).

REFLECTIONS ON TONIGHT'S VERSES:

The Beatitudes found in Matthew 5:3-12 were spoken by Jesus during his Sermon on the Mount and provide a wealth of insight into his teachings. However, these verses still hold an air of mystery which leaves room for interpretation.

These three verses show that Jesus favors those who practice mercy, possess purity of heart, and strive to create peace. Do you believe that you embody these virtues? Are you living up to their full potential?

Upon reading these verses myself I realize how many areas I fall short in comparison to what Jesus discusses here; however keeping these words close can help us improve upon our faults.

The world is currently so divided but this is not what Jesus intended at all! He wants us to seek out peace and offer compassion even towards those who may not share our beliefs as Christians. If we look back at the Beatitudes we will find our answer - he would never want us to provoke discord or hostility within ourselves towards others.

May we strive to embody the virtues of mercy, purity of heart, and peacemaking in our daily lives. Help us to seek out peace and offer compassion even towards those who may not share our beliefs as Christians.

May we always remember that Jesus did not desire for us to cause conflict or harbor malicious intentions towards others.

Let us keep His words close and work towards improving ourselves in these areas.

Additional Points:
The Beatitudes teach us about humility and how it leads to blessings.

As Christians, it is important that we strive to live a life that reflects Christ's teachings.

By embodying the virtues discussed in Matthew 5:7-9, we can become true children of God.

It is important that we do not judge others but instead show them compassion and love.

We should aim to be peacemakers wherever we go and spread positivity instead of negativity.

Remembering Jesus' teachings can guide us through difficult times and help us make better decisions in life.

THE NIGHT PRAYERS:

Father God grant me with good intentions like Christ had. May my heart remain pure like Christ's did.

Allow me to have mercy on others just as Christ did . Fill my being with tranquility like Christ's was filled with it too . Spread love , kindness and Peace everywhere I go just as Christ has taught... Leave everything else up to God who knows.
May I always seek to forgive others as Christ forgave. Grant me the strength to love my enemies and pray for those who persecute me, just as Christ did. Help me to be a vessel of your grace and share your light with those around me, just as Christ did during his time on earth. May my actions reflect your love and bring glory to your name.
May I also learn to trust in you completely, just as Christ did. Help me to surrender my fears and worries to you, knowing that you are in control of all things. Give me the courage to step out in faith and follow your will for my life, even when it may not be easy or comfortable. May I always remember that your plans for me are good and that you have a purpose for everything. Thank you for the example of Christ and the love and grace that he showed us all. May I strive to live like him every day and bring honor to your name. In Jesus Christ's name I prayed - Amen
