Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength (Isaiah 26:4).

FOOD FOR THOUGHT ON THIS VERSE

When we see mountains, we feel small. Not only are mountains much bigger than we are, but they have also been here on earth much longer than we have being.

But the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY had been on His throne much longer before any mountain was created, and he will be there much longer after the mountains are gone. He is the only being that keeps all things steady safe and secure. We can find EVERYTHING we need in Him.

There is need to trust Him ever as the verse I referred to demanded. Let's see in the Amplified Bible:

Isaiah 26:4 So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages] Amp Version.

This verse assures the believers of God Almighty, that this God they believe remains. He is the everlasting, rock. The song writer called Him "Rock of Ages". That's what He is. Always have confidence in Him.

This verse demands that the Bible believers should place every confidence, lean on this great Almighty God. Put every hope on Him and Him alone. Another verse in the same book of Isaiah states:

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Heb. 12:1-3.] Amp.Version

This portion encourages those who are hoping, trusting, placing their confidence in the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY to change their mind, renew their way of reasoning. They shall renew their strength because He may not come as quick as their expectations.

They shall lift up their wings, mount up like eagles, even moving closer to God Almighty, yet they may not get what they need.

They would run, but will not be weary because they have not reached their goal.
They shall walk and will not be tired. That implies that waiting upon the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY is not as easy as one thinks.

Patience is highly needed. Tolerance can not be over looked. Persistence is a must practice. Faith is imperative, necessary, and compulsorily important.
These qualities are mandatory for anyone waiting on the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.

MY PRAYER TODAY

I believe, accept that you will always be my God, my Redeemer, my Savior, my Shepherd, and my Father, since you are eternal and have always been and will always remain the same. I surrender unto you all of my futures, my tomorrows are in hands. I am sure that whatever that is commited into your hands is always protected. Please Father always take over.
