HAS YOUR ASSIGNMENT BEEN COMPROMISED?

📕TODAY'S TEXT:

Then she called, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!”
He awoke from his sleep and thought, “I’ll go out as before and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the Lord had left him (Judges 16:20).

🔑🔐 KEY VERSE:

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17).

💞 CENTRAL TRUTH
In the kingdom of the Almighty Jehovah, the strength of your character determines the success of your mission on earth.

🖊️ MAIN DISCOURSE:

As Christians, we were commissioned by our master Jesus Christ to proclaim His death and resurrection, and win those who are lost in sin and darkness to Him.

But the truth is that not all succeed in this divine mission.

Our text for today describes how glorious Samson's calling and assignment was. God even sent an angel to announce his birth. But tragically, Samson's assignment was compromised because of the weakness of his character.

Your God-given assignment relies on your character to either succeed or to fail.

The totality of the life you live on earth will be weighed by how much you were able to carry out the assignment of proclaiming the very life and character of Jesus Christ to the world, as well as the souls you won for Him.

With all you have, refuse to allow the devil and his lieutenants to compromise your God-given assignment.
