Splinterlands SlumLord Land Progress Report November 2024!
So Splinterlands seems to have bottomed out after something of a turbulent time of late, but land has carried on bimbling along in the background all that time.
Not that much is happening in my region, as I share it with a few people who must have most of their assets vested elsewhere in Praetoria.
Still some progress has been made on the land front...
Overall production figures...
So in summary that is...
- 10.5 SPS per hour
- 40.5 research per hour
- 9K grain per hour.
Although the later is slightly moot as that's just what I require to harvest the previous two!
On the pure mercenary money side of things, that's $2.25 worth of SPS a day, or nearly $70 a month, which I guess is still reasonable, given that I do absolutely nothing to 'earn' that money!
the state of Yorric Dale....
300 plots either productive or in production.
This is basically me and then a couple of other people who are seriously developing and the rest made up of odds and sods.
Looks like there's about 4 tracts which are going to remain almost entirely undeveloped for a while, probably until the market picks up and the holders choose to sell them. Or develop them, but I think the former is more likely!
Next steps...
I'm in agreement with @slobberchops that grain could become more in demand once Grain 2.0 goes live, so I am going to swap some of my research out for grain.
One simply doesn't know what those research points will be useful for, whereas grain is more of a certainty!
I've had a lot of resources in research for the past year or so (or hang on is getting on for two years now....?) and I think I've got enough - it's been rational with the double bonus on production to put higher PP monsters there, but time to tone it down now I think and start stacking a little Grain, I may even pool some with DEC too.
I won't be adding any more DEC to my land for now, I'm at 2.5M which I feel is just plenty!

There's going to be FAMINE, it will happen!
I may go for more grain too then :)
I just need to get around to prepping!
Some nice production numbers it's going to really level up and start getting a little crazy with land 1.75. My thoughts are though if there's not enough reward incentive for building buildings and managing those buildings I question if it will really take off or not. Going to be interesting to see how that all plays out.
They need a game tie in asap! IMO
