100 HIVE Powered up in block 70, 016, 792

Happy Hive Power Up Day...

I just Powered Up another 100 Hive in block 70, 016, 792.

This is a bit more than usual given that I've been buying some Hive this month, while the prices have been cheep, but mostly I just keep the HBDs I earn and pile them into savings!

Oh, and 70 Million blocks! This chain is getting old!

Progress towards 100K HP....

August on Hive

It's funny how August feels like looking backwards more so than usual, like that was summer, but now it's Autumn, which I still feel is kind of like a new start for me, I still live on teacher time, new term in September, even five years after quitting full time teaching!

Added over 1300 HP in August!

I only need to add 1250 a month to reach my 100K target by the end of 2023 which is now looking like a shoe-in, and it's been quite easy to snaffle up a little bit of extra Hive recently given the cheap prices!

Get it while you can, folks.

Posting on Hive...

I've had a pleasant enough August posting on various topics that interest me, mainly on finance related topics, especially cost of living, and a few crypto related things, as well as the usual allotment and running updates!

News on Hive...

I noticed gtg suggesting it's time to wind down the 20% interest rate on HBDs, which personally I think is good as nothing that high is sustainable, so gradually bringing it down to the 10% range I think is just a bit less mental.

But I'm glad I've made the most of it while it's been there!

Splinterlands...

STILL WAITING WAITING FOR LAND. For me August has been about consolidating, mainly buying up some cheap regular rares but more so gold gold gold cards, I think these may be at a premium once land goes live, given how rare they are and the PP boost they give you!
