Retail is coming!
Hello!
This morning I saw a tweet from Willy Woo @woonomic that caught my attention:
+13% monthly active wallet users in July. As a past seed investor I found $EXOD MAUs to be a great fundamental leading signal.
New users are downloading crypto wallets (like the Exodus wallet), and it feels like fresh eyes entering the game. More attention → more network growth → more value possible.
So let me say what it means: When monthly active users grow, it shows more people are engaging. They aren't just holding, they are using, exploring, and likely buying crypto. And Bitcoin follows the network effect: more users, more demand.
This aligns with fundamentals, such as price tends to follow active usage. Willy Woo himself built the NVT (Network Value-to-Transactions) concept showing that on-chain volume and user activity often predict price moves
MAUs rising 13% is impressive. That’s not just a technical metric, it's broader awareness, new onboarding, media buzz, maybe apps or wallets pushing sign-ups. It means Bitcoin isn’t just speculation, it's gaining real world traction.
So how do we think about it in everyday terms? Imagine a newly opened shop in town. At first a few curious people visit. Then more people come because they hear about it, and soon the place is full. Bitcoin is at that stage, it's affordable and being checked out by new potential users.
For us hodlers, this is bullish usage tends to attract price. When adoption picks up, demand grows, and scarcity pressure increases over time. So stacking sats becomes more meaningful.
IT'S AS EASY AS THIS:
Growing MAUs = rising interest = potential price appreciation. If crypto wallets keep adding users at this pace, Bitcoin’s demand side strengthens. Combine this with limited supply? A recipe for future upside.
That’s the signal we like, fundamentals backing price. It’s not hype, it’s network effectss. Keep stacking, keep watching user growth, stay calm. This may be the quiet storm before the real bull market arrives.
The next wave might surprise the normies, but not us.
Stay safe out there!
