Hard savings mode!

Hello!

Last month I’ve decided I would enter to a stat of hard savings mode. This means that I would try to stay as frugal as possible. We are 23 days in the month and I’m quite happy with the results. I’ve managed to go out and have dinner a couple of times with some friends, I also had a 14 people bbq at home, plus I went to the teather and couple of things more.

I also had time to hit the gym several times and enjoy a run with my girl around the fields of my town. The month has been really fun and I even won some money playing poker.

So far I’ve been able to pay the bills and save up to 60% of my job income. The plan is to be in this state of savings mode until the end of the year. I’ve spent a lot of money this 2024 and I also put a lot of savings to pay off the mortgage early.

I’ve calculated that if I do this until the end of the year I will be able to have money aside to keep investing plus we’ll probably buy a small motorbike at the beginning of 2025.

It’s all about planning and having a budget. And of course, a lot of hard work and strong conviction!
