Be a consumer and a producer

There is a lot of growth in the @hive.ghana community, and this is a great thing. The deal is, each time I get into the community, i see new people joining in, and making awesome introduction post.

I have been on Hive for quite some times now, and I am still learning, because, being here on the platform everyday, at any point i began to think that I have known all, it will occur to me that I have not.

On one part, it makes me want to learn more, and on the other hand, it makes me feels like i am still a new comer.

In general, this gave me the idea that learning do not stop, infact, it will be at that time you think you have known all that questions will begin to come to you and demands an answer.

Back in those days, i did not understand the relevance of being a consumer in the blockchain, i thoughts everything was about creating of contents at anytime I feels like, and it was just what I know and understand about Hive.

But then, I started to see a difference handwriting, because i tends to achieve more when i consume content's better than writing whenever i feels like, although it makes a lot of sense to create post, but the few year's i have been on the blockchain, I will say that it is better to consume more and write less.

Consuming contents than writing open us to more connections, and as well, brings more eyes to our amazing contents when we write.

In 2021, when I joined Hive, I took time to follow a lot of people, and then, when I began to put in more engagement on the chain, I began to see that my followers are going up, and that is to say that, if I should continue consuming more contents on the chain, more people are going to follow me, and that as well will get my contents seeing by many, so, i now took it as a goal, to get more followers everyday through engagement.

Last month, A friend told me he wants to start skirt making, with his little knowledge about the industry, he thoughts because he is funny enough, once he start dropping his skirt the whole thing will start flowing, but after a few days of making his skirt, he could just have few numbers of watch, he felt bad and almost gave up.

Thank God, he has a girlfriend who believe in his hustle, she talk to him not to give up, because of his day's of little beginning.

When this got to me, what I said was about making online ads, or giveaways, because it seems he is capable of doing a thing like that, also, for him to joined some comedy groups, connect, meet old and new skirt makers and learn from them.

Then, when I checked his channel which I did some days ago, there was a lot of improvement, and not just his girlfriend, and himself as it was in those weeks, the people that watch the skirt.

People do not grow when they lived an island lifestyle, it is with people around us that it all happened.

In as much as we learn from people, we expand our understanding and we grow.
