Unfortunately, my trip to the MTTs on Sunday was a complete washout, not a single cash.
Maybe I should just play satellites instead of the small MTTs.
My problem with that is that I hate hyper tournaments.

Happens to the best of us. I have no doubt you'll have some luck in the MTTs sooner rather than later. I hear you on the hyper-turbos. They aren't my first choice either. However in these low value freerolls and sats they are most welcomed. I likely would have to pick another route if the freebuys I play in lasted hours instead of an hour+ each. The freebuys are easy to place in and entry is $0. Survive to the addon period and utilize the 50K chip addon (10 cents) and its likely to win a $1.10 or $2.20 ticket (this strategy is for the freebuy sats that award 25+ tickets).
