Selenia Sky: Lore & More (The OG Legendary Summoner)
Today on the @rentmoney blog I'm not going to bore you with my opinion on any of the current on-goings of whatever is going on. I'm not going to toss out a post about the current trade value of the many Splinterland assets available. Which means I'm not going to remind you that CHAOS Packs can be purchased for somewhere around $0.40 USD on TribalDex. I'm not even going to remind you that you can earn the SPT blog token on Splinterlands content by simply tagging your Hive Blockchain Blog Post with the tag #SPT or #SPLINTERLANDS. No, I won't be doing that today. I won't even be letting you know that my Splinterlands affiliate link is https://splinterlands.com?ref=rentmoney (What is an affiliate link? Answer: Its a link that gives me credit (at no loss to you) for introducing you to Splinterlands. But that don't matter at the moment because this post isn't about that). I'm not even going to remind you that there is currently only 286,000* Rebellion Booster packs left before going out of print (Today's Date: 12/07/2024). I won't be hashing or rehashing any of that today. Instead today I would like to highlight The OG Legendary Summoner Selenia Sky.
The OG Legendary Summoner
Selenia Sky is a famed Dragon summoner from Draykh-Nahka. Though she has no scales, the purest of the Fire Blood pumps through Selenia's veins. Most of the flying Dragons allow her to ride them even though she is not an approved Gloridax Dragon Rider. Selenia has won more Mount Mox victories than any other summoner in the Splinterlands, and she knows she is the best. Lore Taken From Official Splinterlands Site.
Did you know that the Alpha Legendary Summoner Selenia Sky was the very first Legendary Summoner? There was a time that this amazing card was the only one within the Splinterlands Realm that could call upon the Splinterlands Dragons to battle alongside other allies? I know, pretty wild right? For that reason and many others I thought it a good idea to showcase SS here today. Its lore can be read above and now lets take a look at the cards combine rates. The Alpha version of the card requires just 8 combined to make a MAX Level Selenia Sky. The Beta Version requires just 11 to create a MAX Level. Check out the combine rates below.

Its been awhile since I viewed this cards market-value but when doing so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that a single BCX of Selenia Sky will currently cost $25.15 USD. I feel this is a fair price for this card. Not too high that it isn't attainable but high enough that it shows the importance and value the card had and continues to have in the overall Splinterlands universe. Currently there is only three level one Selenia Sky for sale ($25.15 USD). One level 2 for $80 USD and One MAXED for $200 USD. If we take a look at the Beta version of the card there is 0 (Nodda) level One's on the market but there is 5 Level Two's, 2 Level Threes and THREE MAXED versions for trade on the official Splinterlands Marketplace. The card has the ability to add +1 to all friendly ranged attack units making this Summoner one of the OG must haves.

Selenia sky is such an OG Splinterlands card for real, I feel like most newer players don't even know this awesome card exists.
I remember opening them up from Alpha packs, but I don't have any left today sadly.
