RentMoney's Recent OnGoings (04/02/2025)
Time To Get Back At it
It's been over a month since I last posted. I first intended on taking a week off from posting/ online activities but extended that into a month+. I will now be back to posting somewhat regularly. I see the price of HIVE has dipped and I jumped at the opportunity to purchase some with the HBD I had in my wallet. I have been back online for a few days. In that time frame I been busy relisting my Splinterland cards for rent. Something I already did a couple months back but due to a rule change that made daily rentals obsolete I had to redo the process. I'm still not even close to finishing but I got a nice start at it. I'll let my rentals set for another 12+ hours. Afterwards I'll make some adjustments/ add more cards to the rental market if need be. I also took a quick dip over to TribalDex and seen that CHAOS Packs are now selling for 60/70 cents USD. That is about double the price point compared to a month or two ago. That was certainly a nice surprise. I suspect there is still lots of room for further upward traction for CHAOS. I sold less than 100 CHAOS Packs and have thousands more. I don't like letting them go at these prices but at the same time I want to drastically increase my Hive Token holdings. For the time being I have opted to continue holding the bulk of my CHAOS Packs. If the price of CHAOS doubles again it will be tempting to let some of them go for Hive Tokens. While at TribalDex I also noticed my order for 10 Moon Kart Packs went through so that means I now have 11 Moon Kart Packs. I no longer have the email address/ know what email address I signed up to Moon Karts with so its likely I create a new account with them and hit the tracks. I'm still using an old work computer but decided its time for a new laptop. First I need to move around some of my offline funds (Something I plan on doing next Tuesday). Once I get that laptop it'll be Moon Karts time. The Splinterlands game known as SoulKeep is in my line of vision as well. For now easing my way back into things with a post or two will do. Tomorrow I'll check my Holozing holdings and add to the pool.
What Has RentMoney Been Up To
During my time away from online these past 30 days I did a little house renovation. Nothing too big just some sanding, painting and rearranging. Three bedrooms down, bathroom is next. Then a reassessment of if I'm going to take on the basement, living room or kitchen next. Other then that I simply been taking it easy. I did accept a line of credit that was offered to me from a bank I been with for years but haven't been active in using. I'm not a person that likes using lines of credit, credit cards or much else that isn't cash. Heck I still don't even use a cell phone (easy to avoid using because there is no cell service where I live). Unfortunately we live in a world that makes it increasingly hard to avoid owning such things. Almost everything online requires two factor identification through phone text. Booking a hotel room (better have a credit card or you might be shit out of luck). One is almost putting themselves at a disadvantage without owning such things so I decided to accept the line of credit offer. I got a better than average interest rate (in my favor 7%). They try to stick me with a slightly higher one but they soon found out that I wasn't going to accept any line of credit unless the rate was to my satisfaction and that seem to do the trick with getting a better rate. On top of that its an unsecured loan. Meaning there is nothing backing the line of credit. They also tossed in a credit card with a 12% rate. The average credit rate is like 20% with 25% being very common. I know of some that have a 30% rate on their credit card. I haven't accepted the credit card yet but likely will. I'll keep the credit balance on it low as its something I intend on using for online activities such as poker. A credit card will make deposits and cashouts much easier. After I get that sorted I suppose I should give in and get a cell phone as well. Ironically my credit score was horrible because of my way of life but after accepting my line of credit my credit score jumped to 750 from 5XX and I didn't do jack aside from accepting the credit line. I picture someone looking at the line of credit given to me/ looking at my credit score and scratching their heads while thinking how did we let this guy talk us into this. Which prompted them to inflate my credit score.
That's It For Now But....

Welcome back! I actually rented a few of your gold foil betas yesterday to stake on my land. Like you I have been busy lately doing a lot of house renovations and driveway/landscaping work.
He does not come back in a proper way, I like this scene :)
Credit scores are really bogus. Churn some money on that card and it will get even better. Charge then pay in full each month. They love unused credit and a good payment history. My father-in-law used to alway say banks only loan money to people that don't need it lol
