Hive Hits $0.27 USD

With the Hive Token hitting $0.27 USD yesterday (04/28/2025) one can feel the anticipation and excitement in the air with the hopes the Hive Token might catch an upswing. Some pull back has occurred since and now we see the Hive Tokens USD value sitting at roughly $0.25. Over the past 12 months we seen the Hive Token dip to as low as $0.16 USD. If we use that same 12 month span and go back to 04/2024 we can see that Hive was sitting at $0.32 USD per token. What are we to make of all this? In the world of cryptocurrency no-one can give you a fool proof answer to that question but I can tell you my thoughts. Personally I think the Hive Token is currently at a very strong price point but yet still very undervalued. How can I make such a claim? A claim with two statements that bunt heads. This is how; if we take a look at a similar tokens USD worth Hive is out-performing, out-working and out-valuing it. This shows the strength of the Hive Token. There is too much awesomeness on the Hive Blockchain for the token not to eventually get its bull run. Upcoming projects such as Holozing are on the Horizon and already established companies such as Splinterlands have been in full swing for awhile now. The recover from a low of $0.16 to $0.25 also signifies strength. At the same time the Hive Token trade value being higher roughly one year ago shows how undervalued the token is in regardless to its USD value. Conclusion: there is lots of potential upside for the Hive Token. All that and more is how I can make the claim;

Hedge Those Bets

It's during these pumps or times of anticipation and excitement that I like to blast out a short post to remind those who like to spend their time here on the @rentmoney blog to hedge those bets, don't overextend and take some profits if need be. Don't invest, trade or spend anything over what you are not willing to lose. Never invest what you can't afford to lose. In this crazy but yet amazing world of cryptocurrency fortunes can turn on a dime. Upswings turn into downswings and just as quickly can bounce back. This isn't restricted to Hive but in all that we do. What is @rentmoney up to during such times. I participate with multiple projects here on the Hive Blockchain. Splinterlands, Moon Karts and Holozing to name a few. When the Hive Token spikes some of those projects assets become more cost efficient to attain in regards to Hive Token spending. This means I keep my eyes glued on such markets. When the Hive Token pumps its not uncommon for those holding assets (that are easily tradable for the Hive Token) to trade them away at discounts in an effort to attain more Hive. For those looking for more Splinterlands packs or Centauri packs this can be good news. Another prime example would be Holozing Vials. For each fraction of a percent the Hive Token increases in USD value VIALS decrease that same percent in-regards to a VIALS Hive Token price. This is due to the fact that the trade value of a VIAL is 20 HBD/ USD and doesn't fluctuate. Today's Holozing Vial is worth 79 Hive Tokens. If Hive pumps above today's going rate that trade value of 79 Hive will dip and thus savings can be had.
