Purchased Hive with my HBD

Moments ago after checking the markets I seen Bitcoin has dipped under $90,000 USD. We here on the Hive Blockchain know what that usually means. Which is, the Hive Token likely dipped as well. Checking the internal market my thoughts are confirmed. The Hive Token is currently being traded at the rate of $0.101 HBD per Hive Token. I'm not sure where the Hive USD/ HBD worth will go from here but I do still believe that the risk/reward for stacking HIVE right now is high. That doesn't mean one should go breaking their piggy bank or re-mortgaging their house. We still need to follow basic rules such as Never invest or spend what you can't afford to lose . There is also the real possibility that we dip further. The bear hit and by all accounts hasn't stayed long. Bears don't usually hit n run. They come, linger around until the Bull scares them away. As for me I been doing some small trading between my HBD & Hive Token holdings. The main goal is to have more Hive but if I get caught on the wrong end at least I have HBD and one can't be too upset about that. At current time I traded all of my HBD for Hive Tokens. Was it a good short-term move (I don't know). Was it a good mid-long term play (I think so). Only time knows the answers to such questions. As always I'd like to remind you to hedge those bets. We can't control what the markets do but we can control our reaction to what they do. Stay calm/ weather the storm, most us here on the Hive Blockchain been here before. Hopefully when its all said and done you'll have more tokens than you started with.

Poker Update

Played my first tournament since re-entering the poker world. I got in for free via satellite (winning a smaller tournament to participate in a real money tournament). I end up registering during late registration. It was a turbo tournament that left me with 20 big blinds upon registering. Five minute blinds. I manage to steal a pot here n there but lost an all in to a two outer on the River. To be fair the villain had the better hand preflop. Left me with about 12-15 big blinds. I shove in middle position with A 10 and get called by QQ and go busto. I did manage to win $3.00 without any risk of my own funds. I been using that $3 to play some small sit n goes just to get a feel for the software. I'll buckle-down after the New Year to see if it's viable to earn Fiat without risk of ones own funds on the current site I'm playing on. If so I'll present the site and formula in a blog post. Until then I will putt around testing out the poker clients features. I do have another satellite ticket handy and will use that today. If I have a good showing it will lead to another free entry into a tournament that has real money as the prize pool. I can already see a potential formula to earn without risking ones own funds.

GLX Sell Orders

I was keeping a close eye on the GLX token and will eventually be purchasing a bag full of them. I dipped my toe in the SWAP market about a week back. I decided to wait some days and then have a look to see what the happenings are. Those days are now up. At current time the highest Buy Order for GLX sits at 0.001084 Hive per GLX. This seems to be the going rate as its the number that I come to see most often on the Buy Orders side. There's approximately 45 Hive Tokens worth of buys above the 0.0010 value. Buy orders dip by 0.001 afterwards with liquid matching each sell point. Example: 0.000900 has 9 Hive worth of buy orders/ 0.00800 has 8 Hive worth of buy orders/ so on and so forth until we get to 0.000201 which has 100 Hive worth of Buy orders. Full disclosure: the 100 Hive Buy order is mine. That being said I think I will at current time place a small order slightly above the current high that is offered. For those who might not know. GLX is the governance token for the Sports gaming platform known as Genesis League Sports. Currently the platform has one game hosted on it called Genesis League Goals (Soccer/Football game).
