Can you ellaborate? Do you mean that streaming is a dead end "industry"? I pretty much agree on that, the generative IA is going to eat a lot of cakes, imho. Only good niche and highly specialized markets will survive.

It is not a profit generator. In other words, it is a loss leader, kind of like buffets use to be in Vegas.
Amazon doesnt need to make money on streaming since it will sell more products through their platform. Apple can sell phones, apps, and other products by getting users on AppleTV.
If Netflix doesnt make money off streaming, what do they have?
I have been always quite bearish on Netflix, tbh. As a emule user, I see them as Blockbuster xDDD
they have games and played on strictly subscriptions
