From Leftovers to Fudgy Bliss: My Ganache Brownie Recipe.

I had a fun experiment in the kitchen: I made brownies with cookies and leftover chocolate ganache!

A few days ago, I decided to make something comforting after a boring long day. There were some leftover chocolate ganache from my previous baking. Also, some store-bought peanut chocolate cookies were on the shelf for a few weeks.

So I thought why not I turn them into something? And there's always some recipe with random things on YouTube, right?

This recipe is not my personal but something I got inspired from YT. Let me share my fusion!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted melted butter or oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar or as per your taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup crushed cookies (Or you can add any cookies, e.g., chocolate chip, Oreos, or anything you have)
  • 1/2 cup leftover chocolate ganache

The ingredients are pretty simple. You can avoid the cookies and add more flour instead if you want.

Step-by-step process:

I start by adding the dry ingredients to the chocolate ganache. If the ganache is in the fridge, soften it by putting the bowl in warm water or reheat slightly to soften.

Add the egg and vanilla extract, and whisk them until well combined.

Crash the cookies and add to the mixture.

My proportion of adding butter was wrong so the brownies came a little dry. You follow the ingredients I have mentioned here.

Put the mixture in the pan and into the oven. Bake for 20-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean (I know you all know this trick).

Cool, cut, and serve.

As I have mentioned this came out a little dry. But the taste was good.

The cookies added a perfect crunch to the brownie. I wish I added some cut-up chocolate or chocolate chips so it would come out more delicious.

It was a perfect mood-booster recipe for a boring day. It took no time as I didn't have to prepare the ganache, just added the other ingredients and tada! The easiest brownies were done!

I hope you liked the recipe. So if you have leftover cookies or ganache, or simply want to have some brownies you can follow the recipe.

Have a great day.
