Splinterlands New Season | New POV | HIVE Keychain Swap
A new season has begun in Splinterlands. I am quite excited about this season! Since I was thinking of playing the game and try out the battle field once again. I remember how I enjoyed playing the game in the previous season. It was well worth the time. Which is why I decided to get in on the game via purchasing the WILD PASS. It typically requires to obtain the WILD pass in order to play in the WILD Format of the Splinterlands game.
The cost of the wild pass in 2000 DEC. Which I suppose is probably the right way to get into the game and will provide some more value for a player and encourage the player to recover the fee paid to get into the game ASAP. Which is indeed a quite a motivation for a player to keep on improving the game. I am not sure what was happening to me, the thought of playing the game was itching me a lot. Which is why, without any further delay I purchased the Wild Pass. It was just heat of the moment. As I knew the players who are in the Diamond League of above they will do their best to go above the leaderboard by beating all the small fish along the way. I am indeed nothing more than a mere fish compared to those OG's. But yet who listens to my thought lol. My mind was saying go for it and you will enjoy the process no matter what!
I decided to buy the DEC using the HIVE that I have in my wallet. Also the amount 2000 DEC was not really worth the hassle of converting one token to another. Which is why I decided to try out the Keychain app for this conversion. It just took some time of mine and it was done within seconds.
As you may notice in the image below, I was using the swap feature of Keychain for this swap. If you look closely on the first image, I had 7.432 HIVE, which I eventually converted to DEC. On the second image to the right it shows exactly how many DEC will I get after the conversion. Also to note, there is a fee of 0.75% for this to go through.

Here is the breakdown of the swap in the transaction history. As you can see the whole process, how it got executed and how much FEE was deducted in the process. In my case I had to pay 12.69 DEC as fees. I had few DEC in my account and upon combining them now I got to use them to purchase the WILD PASS.
I usually try out different features of newly introduced dapps. Which is why as you may notice on my blog, I have tried out Dswap.trade and I have created multiple blog post related to it as well. Hive Keychain is no different. @stoodkev thanks to you for making Keychain and keep on building it for more awesome features within the app.
I mean, this is what the Hive Blockchain is about. Creating applications such as Keychain, DswapTrade on top of Hive Blockchain and making our lives easier. I suppose in the coming days, there will be users who have already adopted these Applications and these apps has become a part of their everyday routine. Keep up the good works guys!
I seemed to start this season in Diamond league. I probably entered during the peak hours of the game play. The reason I am refererring to this is because I was facing enemies beyond my capabilities. As if I was thrown in the battle unprepared, Not knowing what is to arrive in the coming battles. I was being crushed by the OG players! It is literally a blood bath happening in the battle field for the time being.

Yeah, I am nowhere near winning the matches. I bet things are going to be much more difficult than I thought. I suppose I will be taking a short break from playing. At least for a day. This will help push the OG players up the leader board as they pursue their goals for the top positions. I will also get adopted to the environment of the game little more. Loosing the games has also provided me some tactics which I intent to use in my gameplay.
Do not forget about the plot that I own. It has already been 4 days since I harvested my woods. I have been claiming my woods and slowly trying to compound them along the way. I will accumulate some more woods and add some of those wood in WOOD:DEC pool. I do have a position in this pool, I intend to keep on increasing my position in this pool. Lets see how far I would be able to go in the coming days.
