Would You Order A Crypto Phone For The Airdrop Or The Technology?

I just ordered my first crypto mobile phone and I don’t know how to feel, should I be worried excited? Should I be optimistic or may be just stick to being pessimistic. Because, I don’t want to be disappointed, I will say, I FOMOd to order this crypto mobile phone. Let me walk you through my FOMO.

So last year or 2022, can’t remember the exact year, solana launched their mobile
Phone at $1,000. I laughed and said I was not going to be buy it, why should I buy it? So because it’s a regular phone branded by solana, should that be an enough reason to buy it? I guess everyone thought the same thing, the solana mobile phone sales was low they had to reduce it to $500. This reduction in price still didn’t encourage people to buy, not until airdrop to solana mobile phone owners started trending. Now people have a reason to get the solana mobile. They are seeing it as an investment, imagine spending $500 on a mobile phone and making $700, that’s $200 profit.

The first solana mobile phone has sold out, season 2 is out, it’s still $500, I didn’t buy it. But Aptos is collaborating with a mobile phone company called Jambo Technology to make an Aptos crypto powered smart phone. It’s valued $99 and delivery is $30, at least I can afford that. To answer my own question, I chose to buy the phone for potential crypto airdrop if Aptos decides to airdrop to Jambo mobile phone owners like solana mobile did to their mobile phone owners.

While ordering for mobile phone I didn’t check the specs or technology, because I didn’t care. I just want to be eligible for some airdrop, I didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity. If I am being honest to myself, I am not interested in the technology, just the airdrop. I don’t know when the phone will get here but I feel good ordering hoping I get some airdrop.
