Pi Might Just Be Wasting Your Time
Got a notification from my phone and it was from my pi network requesting I renew my pi mining. I clicked and renewed, while I was on the app I had some self reflection and it dawned on me that I have been mining Pi for more than 2 years and the team haven’t launched the Pi token yet. We have been getting updates from the team on social media giving details of their progress but it seems like Pi is mining your data while you think you are mining the token. Lots of projects have come and launched while Pi is still here asking you to mine. What’s supposed to be their utility? I honestly don’t know, it’s expected to be like bitcoin, a token or a coin with value that can be used for transactions.

But look at the mode of mining, you need to register and do KYC, then invite people to come mine with you. If the people you invited to come mine don’t do KYC, you won’t get some of your mined Pi, so the catch is to persuade your invites to do KYC. Why is this KYC so important to Pi, this is a sign that they are farming their users. They have your data, have access permission to your Facebook or whatever social medium you used to register. At this point, I don’t know if its too late to stop mining because my data is already mined, I might as well just stick around get rewarded.
Pi network has one of the largest communities, its instagram has more than 1 million followers, twitter followers is also more than 1 million, these are people that once believed in the community and also got farmed by the devs. The community is filled with people waiting and hoping that their effort of years of mining Pi will be worth it. This is just proof that the community is just farming community and probably selling their data, sadly I among those people getting farmed.

Pi is actually listed on some of these exchanges like bitmart even though it's currently on suspension . I've sold some of my pi and I know people who do p2p buying of pi. So, I don't think it's a waste of data, but the KYC part can be frustrating, I wonder why they have to lock my pi because my referral did not do their KYC
Pi announced that the pi listed on exchanges is not the official pi from them. How did you sell your PI?
There's currently a buyer who I sell to in person.
I have been in this mining for a long time since the beginning but I feel it is really fake so I stopped using it from this year.
I think I will be doing the same
I stopped using it years ago because it gave me nothing but promises.
I will hâve to stop too
I stopped mining Pi a year ago, but I still have the app on my phone.
Over here some boutiques and a few other shops claim they accept pi coin.
I honestly don't see any future in pi, I feel it's a total waste of time
At this point their are just playing with their users
Have you tried selling some Pi?
No I haven’t
Hmmm...i have been mining Pi for about a year now, I even did the kyc thing but mine has not been verified.
There was a time I heard that it was launched on one Huobi exchange. I don't think I spelt the name of the exchange correctly.
There is someone on my WhatsApp who claims that he buys Pi too.
Well, what can we do now?
Pi had millions of users i guese generating ads revenue gives them more income so they are more focused on ads.
Thats so true, these people are making a lot of money from we the users
Thats it buddy been mining for like 2 years or more lol.
