Well, monopoly has a lot to teach us about money, although it’s fun to play, but paying attention helps you learn about money. When playing monopoly, you would discover that, the way you see the game, is the way the government sees the economic world. First of all, monopoly teaches us about how easy it is for the government to create money, there is unlimited money creation. when you are playing the monopoly game and you want to change the rule, you can decide to print more money and there is nothing anyone can do because, you are the government and the monopoly game is your world.

In investment, patience is the key, if you want to make it big in the monopoly investment world, you have to have patience. If you don’t have patience, you might just miss out on the opportunity of making it big from your investment. Monopoly also teaches that value beasts cost, not all expensive things are valuable, sometimes you can make a lot of money from owning less expensive assets than owning expensive assets. For instance, you own an expensive house worth $1 Million that makes you $180,000 yearly. But you own 10 properties worth $100,000 each and each of them makes $30,000 making it a total of $300,000 yearly. That’s the power of investment and investing smartly.

Investment Diversification is another core lesson to learn from monopoly, you have higher chances of earning more and keeping your wealth safe when you diverse into different safe places. For instance, owning multiple assets, gives you chance of multiple opportunity to earn. In a play at least there are more than 2 chances of people landing on your property and paying you rent money.
