Chances Of Making It In Free Mint

Late last year I decided to dive into the NFT community, I have a friend who makes money from minting free Ethereum NFTs, and sell them at a high price. Doesn’t sound bad at all, but to get whitelisted for the free mint, you need to grind for the whitelist. If you are early enough, the whitelist task might be easy to get, it can be as easy as joining the discord, or filling a whitelist form. But if you meet it late, you will grind really hard for the whitelist, grinding include, being active on discord, being active on twitter and doing some daily quest. This tasks to help create awareness. Most times they are exhausting and tiring to do, although you are doing all this hoping the project booms and makes you some cool cash, so that all your hardworking will be worth the effort.

I did my first Ethereum free mint in November last year, got whitelisted for filling an NFT form during the dying minute, got the chance to mint two NFTs, minted them with $15 gas fees and waited for the NFT reveal. Before the reveal, each NFT was worth $160, I was really excited, after the reveal, the NFT fell, each NFT is worth less than $50 now. I didn’t sell them, I am keeping them and hoping they make me buy a lambo.Today I got whitelisted for another NFT, I got the chance to mint 3 NFTs, I spent $28 minting the three, they are currently at $56 floor price right now. Is this the right time to sell?

In the past we have seen a lot of NFT projects that changed a lot of people’s lives, some where free mints that ended up worthing a lot, some weren’t free mints, but its crypto anything can happen, one day you are worth $100 the next day, your asset is worth over $10k. Right now, I will be holding my NFTs, hoping they create a better utility and worth more, besides, the bull market might just be around the corner, I wouldn’t want to be that guy who regrets selling at $50 when I could sell at over $1k+. Besides I mines these NFTs for free. The chances of making through free mints is unpredictable, you just never can know.
