A very warm greeting to the entire creative family of #Diyhub, I hope you had a nice day!!! I am pleased to welcome you to my blog and especially to today's post where I will teach you how to make, in a very creative way, some colorful pots with plastic bottle caps for our smallest houseplants.

I spend my time inventing, experimenting, engineering or whatever you want to call it, all kinds of things... What is true is that I never have my mind or hands calm making something that I can share with you every day. I like to bring you a versatile blog, full of ideas and moments that may be useful to you at some point... As I told you at the beginning, today we will make pots by recycling those plastic bottle caps; I don't think you have any idea how much time I spent collecting these lids. Honestly, it was a lot, but I already had this idea in mind and the will to give them a new use... So today I had enough to give my cactus plants a new place to grow. Although the ones I made are only good for small plants because of their space, it all depends on the container you use as a mold and also the amount of lids you manage to collect. So without further ado, I'll show you the step-by-step instructions.

• A spoon.
• An aluminum container.
• A little oil.
• Raffia thread.

PROCEDIMIENTO

In my aluminum container, I'm going to put a little bit of oil and spread it all over, including the edges. I'm going to leave it on one side, while in a pan, I'm going to place the lids and wait for them to start melting to mix a little. Let's not mix too much so that the colors of the lids don't get completely lost.

Then, very carefully, I'm going to place the entire mixture in the container we had reserved with oil and begin to spread it out on all sides with a spoon. We'll do this step a little quickly because the mixture tends to harden a little quickly. When we're done shaping it, we let it harden completely and if we want it to cool faster, we put it in a container with water. Once it's ready, we remove it from the aluminum container and open some holes with a hot nail at the bottom.

Then we sand the edges a little, and decorate however we like. I just put a string on the edges to show off its colors.

Resultado!

The result is a beautiful basket-shaped pot made entirely from recycled material that will look very attractive in your garden with your cactus plants.
