The Silent Crypto Revolution
I picked the ending scene from fight club to describe this article because it's very fitting. Who would have known that it was going to be a sort of prophecy rather than a fictional tale.
For context, one man managed to unite every common person through what binds them together and fixate them towards a common goal of taking down the structures that hold tight control over us. A simplistic explanation but it does the job.
And here we are now, at the dawn of a new era.
I sort of feel like Jack, staring out into the void as the old guard is being brought to its knees and a new way of living emerges.
This of course isn't a violent take down of the old establishment like in fight club, no, it's quite the opposite. This one is quiet, working in the silent, and it will just seem to happen over the next few years as more and more people begin to move elsewhere.
If you know anything about power; power is not something that can be taken, it can only be given.
Those that are in power right now retain these structures because we use their systems, we sign up to their platforms, and we contract with them in every way to live our lives. We give them every bit of our attention, which maintains control of their power.
Psychologists and psychiatrists are used in tech to keep us hooked to our screens and talking about those that we need to be talking about. That's just a small example. The control runs deep.
But think of this. What if we just stop watching and contracting? What if instead of using Facebook to watch Donald Trump we just stop using Facebook entirely and stop caring about what El Trumpio is up to? Or any of the other idiots in congress?
For this to happen you would need an absolutely fundamental shift away from the old style of life -- how could anything do that? We are so deeply ingrained in our own ways and routines that half the time I doubt even 2% of the population are self aware.
I have an old friend who tells me Renee Descartes "I think therefor I am" is a lost concept, because he wonders how many people on this planet are simply on autopilot, going through the motions, doing what they've always done and never stopped to think at least why.
That's quite a powerful chain to break. I mean we're talking massive structural change on a level even I couldn't comprehend.
Well, for starters we'll need time. Rome of course wasn't built overnight. The change will begin slowly at first, but as the change happens people will begin to start questioning the old ways, and it well get louder and more apparent as time passes.
Eventually my grandkids will probably have me at their school to talk about what it was like to be ruled by singular entities that had no interest in helping anyone else but lining their own pockets and how we let that stand as a people?
Will that mentality always be there? Sure, but it will be far less pronounced.
The shift will start when everyone, tall or small will have the ability to earn whilst they sleep.
That's it. That will literally be the straw the will break the camels back. That will be the spark that ignites the inferno.
It'll all come crumbling down after that.
Think of it this way, those that maintain control have done so by keeping the poor.. poor. It's easier to make promises and not keep them when people are struggling to survive and they're in tribal mode, protecting their brood.
Much harder to do when everyone is happy and comfortable.
It's far easier to do outlandish things in government when all is not well in the state of Denmark; when citizens are at each others throats, arguing over irrelevant things. It's a strategy as old as time, divide and conquer.
So how will it happen? I mean earn as you sleep is quite an outlandish claim. Most people will read this and laugh; everyone knows for someone to win then another person has to lose.
Well, it all starts with @Agglayer.

Essentially, they are trying to abstract away web2 entirely.
Seems a hard feat, I know. Web3 seems like it was made on my zx spectrum back in 1987 currently, but that's all about to change.
Get ready for super sleek web3 building tools and easy access for developers.
