Homework: Education System

HOMEWORK for the student has always been the most practiced system in education. Homework has a historical track record for a long which is now a big concern and controversial matter. After studying in school, students are going back home along with their homework. Some mentors are considering this homework as a mental pressure on the students, which is not required as mandatory. In their opinion, studying in school is enough for a student, and they promote their system of teaching in school, where there will be no requirement for homework at all; required homework would be completed in school. But most of the teachers and guardians are in favor of homework. Because the education systems and facilities are not similar or equal for all schools, and all students’ learning capacity is not the same. If no more homework is applied to the students, then it would be mixed results, and most of the time it won’t bring good results at all, which is the main thought of the guardian and teachers.

At present, the study is more competitive in every aspect, students are studying in school for a long time and after closing the school they are going back to home with a homework like a burden, the students are not able to spares the time for play or any other physical and mental activities for recreation. In some cases, students are going through a traumatized situation for their studies. If studies can be consolidated inside the schools, only then could it be a relief for the student, and they can enjoy their life with play and other activities, which could be better for their growth. All students are naughty and careless by nature, they are always trying to avoid studying and trying to play all the time. Unfortunately, without homework, students may engage in bad practice. And guardians also will not agree with this system of no homework at all. All the guardians have a big concern, they won’t like to take this type of risk, and not all guardians are not well enough believe about the sufficient studies conducted within the schools. It could be too difficult to make the guardian understand the benefit of this no-homework program, but a proper plan and execution can bring a good result to this system.

From my point of view, first of all have to confirm the similar education systems in all schools, and a confirmation that the required study is well done in school time, then make this system understood by the guardian also, and gradually prepare the student for this practice and actively adopt it by the students. In the meantime, homework for the student should be continued; all of a sudden, it would not be advisable or acceptable for everyone. If it were possible to implement for all the students, then we could release students from their mental pressure for the study, which could bring good results, and really change the atmosphere of the study. We believe the proper study for all students with a proper way that can eliminate homework for the students.
