My Post for "The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 424" 🍺

How are you doing?
This is my first #BeerSaturday post. 🎉
I love beer and me and my girlfriend alway try different kinds.
These 2 bottles are left from what we brought back home from our vacation in the netherlands in July. We were all the way on the north coast near a little town called Den Oever.
One is kind of a "standard" beer you get everywhere in the Netherlands called AMSTEL. The other one is with cherry (I love cherry beer) but is originally from Belgium.
This vacation was just wonderful and in one of the most beautiful spots I´ve seen so far. We really didn´t wanna go back home. 😄
We went outside for food and drinks quite alot and always tried some typical beer. And it was delicious! Together with lot´s of cheese and sandwiches and typical snacks, the beer tasted even better!
The first beautiful spot we found was a little bar directly on the Harbour in Den Helder. The beer AMSTEL I really liked alot, that´s why we brought it home.
On another day, we drove with a very old steam engine train. It was like traveling back in time, and very relaxing and beautiful. We made a little break at a nice little town and got some Poffertjes and beer.
In the beautiful city of Alkmaar we went to a cheese market, and afterwards got a little beer in a pub.
We also tried a dark beer in a restaurant directly on the sea. It was very good and also the food was delicious! And sooo much!
On the last day we went shopping and brought back home alot of beer and cheese. 😄 And when we got home we invited our best friends and made a beer and cheese tasting. 😍 It was sooo good!
It was a holiday I won´t forget. And we plan to go back there. And all beer we tried was very good! I will open up one of the last ones we have left now and enjoy it. 😄

I've been to Amsterdam a few times, but need to explore more of the Netherlands. They have some nice beers there and not just the big names. Looks like a nice holiday.

Haha! Yeah I love wine because I live in a wine area. But beer is also great! :D

Hola, una pregunta, como son los Países Bajos, son antiguos, y el pueblito Den Oever y Belgica y Alkmaar, tambien son antiguos, el tren de vapor antiguo que muestras y cuentas se ve muy bien, dijiste que una de las cervezas tiene cerezas, verdad, eso hace que la cerveza se dulce, cierto, pero, bueno, me alegra que les haya ido muy bien a tu novia y a ti.
Sí, las ciudades tienen muchas calles y casas antiguas bonitas. Es muy acogedor y nos gustó mucho.
Sí, eso hace que la cerveza sea dulce. Y sabe mejor en invierno, cuando se toma caliente.

I also love cherry beer! Had one once in Croatia, in a pub on the Danube's riverside. They served it with ice cubes! It was so refreshing!
It's a shame it's nearly impossible to find it in Italy 🙄
With ice cubes is nice! We also drink it in the winter and make it hot. That´s great! Yes in Germany I only sometimes get it...

As a Dutchie I tasted all those beers!
My favorite Dutch brand is Kompaan (little brewery in The Hague)
They have some cool IPA & Imperial Stout
below my favorites! Should you get the opportunity to try them, 100% recommend it!

When you think of Amstel here in Nigeria, you think of malt. I wish am there to have a taste of Amstel beer.
