Striped rodent chipmunk🐿️.

🦉 The Siberian chipmunk (Eutamias sibiricus), also called common chipmunk

These furry little animals live in any forest in my city. The easiest way to meet them is in an old cemetery, where they collect food and take it to their home for storage.
In summer it is difficult to meet them, or rather to see them. All because of the thickets, but their characteristic sounds are often heard. With these sounds, as I understand it, chipmunks indicate their territory when they see others. They are very territorial and do not like competitors. I would call them Bilbo Baggins in the world of rodents.

They eat everything: seeds, nuts, insects, even bird eggs. It is especially funny to watch them in the fall. At this time, they stock up on food and run around with huge, swollen cheeks.

Always watching and always paranoid. These guys go bolting through the forest here with loud chipmunk cuss words when I'm foraging for mushrooms.
