This week's topic is - SMALL BIRDS

Long-tailed tit
Yes, on the one hand, thanks to its very long tail, this bird does not fall into this category, but on the other hand, its body is very small. and the weight is only 8 grams.

Coal tit
This bird is already one of the smallest tits. Its alternative obsolete name is the little or lesser tit.

Willow warbler
This small bush bird weighs 9 grams. But despite its size, it has a loud voice and wonderful songs.

Little bunting
The name alone speaks for itself. This is one of the smallest birds of its bunting family. It lives in bushes near river banks.

Siskin
These bright birds are also small and weigh 12 grams. They live mainly in coniferous forests, but can also be found in mixed ones.

Redpoll
And these are northern relatives of siskins. They live in northern regions and arrive at the end of autumn.

The willow warbler note stood out to me. Hard to believe a 9 gram bird can project like a tiny opera singer. Do you hear them most at dawn in your area, or are they just as vocal through the day?
