Chipmunk in the autumn forest 🐿️

One day at the end of September, while walking through the forest, I heard the rustling of dry leaves. I followed the sound and saw this furry friend.

In the fall, these animals actively stock up on food; they look for and collect it everywhere, put it in their cheeks and carry it to their home.

It is interesting that in their homes there is a separate room for a food warehouse, and maybe even more than one. Moreover, food is also not placed in a pile, but separately. This allows these animals to survive the winter.
