🦉 The brambling (Fringilla montifringilla)

In some regions, these birds are sedentary and winter there, but in my region, it's too cold, so they fly away to warmer climates. And as soon as spring arrives, these birds arrive, probably at the same time as the chaffinches.

They have a distinctive buzzing call, which can be heard from males in the spring. Speaking of sexual dimorphism, males are easily distinguished from females; the male has a contrasting black head and a bright red color, while the female has a gray head.
The birds themselves are rare in my forests.
