🦉 The common redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus)
- Phoenicurus Greek: dark red phoinix, oura tail

It seems so bright and beautiful, and it seems as if it lives in the forest. However, these birds live not only in forests, but also near us, in city groves, gardens, and even in courtyards, in the bushes under windows. And what’s also interesting is that I’ve encountered them in different types of forests, both mixed and coniferous.

Males and females are very easy to distinguish. The male is bright red, with a contrasting black coloring and a light gray cap on his head. The female is brown with washed-out orange highlights.

I don't know whether this bird species exists in my area or not, the important thing is that this bird looks very unique and cute.
