For some reason, I only see these funny birds in the fall. They're especially noticeable in the forests surrounding my city. This is obviously due to their love of migration.
It's worth mentioning that the most beautiful subspecies lives in my region; they have bright red plumage on their heads and not only, while the other subspecies have dull plumage, they may have white or black stripes and spots on their heads.

They feed like other corvids, consuming both plant and animal matter. They are especially fond of acorns. In villages, they readily visit bird feeders in search of nuts.
