🦉 The common whitethroat or greater whitethroat (Curruca communis)
- Curruca is an unidentified bird name mentioned in the poems of the ancient Roman poet Juvenal
- communis (lat.) ordinary, common.

This bird is a typical bush dweller. It doesn't matter where the bushes are—it could be meadows, forest clearings, the forest itself, or a riverbank—as long as there are plenty of bushes and tall thickets.

Males like to fluff up the feathers on their heads, which gives them a funny triangular appearance to their heads.
