🦉 Pallas's grasshopper warbler (Helopsaltes certhiola), also known as the rusty-rumped warbler
- Helopsaltes - ? To be honest, my etymological reference book does not contain such a name; it was obviously given to the bird quite recently.
Google's AI says it translates to "mountain/ground singer."- certhiola - diminutive of Certhia ((Greek) a small tree-crawling bird mentioned by Aristotle

This inconspicuous bird inhabits bushes, thickets of grass with bushes in dry and damp places, so it is difficult to see it, especially in summer among the dense foliage.
It stays quite secretive in thickets, but when singing, males often fly out into open areas or perch on the tops of stems, sometimes taking to the air while singing. The song consists of a series of resonant whistles, trills, and crackles.

The "Song Warbler," as we call it, is a typically insectivorous bird, feeding primarily on insects and spiders, as well as their larvae and other small invertebrates. It actively hunts in thickets of grass and bushes, moving quickly.
