🦉 The azure tit (Cyanistes cyanus hyperrhiphaeus)
- Cyanistes kyaneos (Greek), cyaneus (Latin) dark blue
- cyanus Greek: kyanos dark blue
- hyperrhiphaeus Greek: hyperrheō to overflow, phaios dark, dull

This rare species of tit is not often encountered, sporadically, and you also need to know where to look for these birds and then you might be lucky enough to meet them. And you need to look for them near rivers, lakes, or in flooded meadows.

With the onset of autumn, they leave these places in search of food, and can join their close relatives, that is, other species of tits, forming a mixed flock.
Their diet and behavior are typical of the entire tit family.

Wow gorgeous with mask on tiny face, flashes of blue through the wingtips, stunning photography of the unique find.
