🦉 The lesser whitethroat (Curruca curruca)
- curruca - is an unidentified bird name mentioned in poems by the ancient Roman poet Juvenal

This little grey bird is easy to miss, it is very inconspicuous. It has neither bright plumage nor loud song. Speaking of voice. It sings as if reluctantly, the songs consist of short trills, more like it is grumbling under its breath.

This bird lives in bushes near forest edges, ravines and clearings. By the way, I have never met it in meadows, which is strange, because it is an open place. But occasionally she appears in my yard, in the bushes along the school. But not for long, most likely just flies past.
