π¦ The common sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos)
- Actitis (Greek) - inhabitant of the coast
- hypoleucos (Greek): - whitish

This species of sandpipers is probably the most numerous, and is found often and everywhere. I mean, it can be seen near rivers, on the banks. And there were even cases when I saw them in the steppes on flooded meadows. They arrive approximately at the beginning of May, although in the steppes I mentioned I met them at the end of April.

These guys, flying over the surface of the water, really like to scream with their loud, ringing voices, which for some reason quickly bore me. And sometimes they shake their tails like wagtails.
And by the way, in the 3rd photo I met this friend in a very unusual place, on a dry swamp in a coniferous forest.
