🦉 The great tit (Parus major)

This bird is unmistakable: a bright yellow belly with a black "tie" that extends to the tail in males, while in females it seems to have faded. Loud, brazen and omnipresent - in winter, it is the first to find a feeding trough, and then screams throughout the area, calling its relatives.

Unlike other species, the great tit is a real hooligan. I once decided to treat the locals with unsalted lard in a small bottle cap, I cut it into small pieces. So one individual managed to steal the entire cap and flew away with the prey, solemnly squeaking.
