π¦ The European pied flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca)
- Ficedula fi cedulinus (medieval lat.): βA small bird that feeds on figs and turns into a black-headed warbler in winter β(from: Jobling, 2010)
- hypoleuca hypoleucos Greek: hypo below, a little, leukos white, hypoleukos whitish

In the last post I told about young Bramblings who were swimming in a puddle. This post, you could say, is a continuation, because the events took place in the same place. But this time with a different bird. There were also several of these birds, and it was also a family of adults and two teenagers.
Young birds are still stupid and do not notice the dangers of the world, so the bathing bird did not fear me but simply took a bath.

The adult birds screamed and jumped nervously from branch to branch.
These birds, like most insectivores, migrate back almost unnoticed, it is even difficult to say when this happens. However, they always arrive at the very end of April, when the snow has almost melted.
