🦉 The Bohemian waxwing (Bombycilla garrulus)
- Bombycilla bombux (Greek) silk, cilla (Latin) tail
- garrulus lat .: garrire to chatter, babble, chirp, garrulus chatty, chirping, noisy; ax prone to

There is very little time left before the arrival of these beautiful stylish birds, about a week or two. As a rule, they can already be seen in the forests at the beginning of October. They fly in large noisy flocks from tree to tree.

You can often see them making massive raids on berry bushes and trees. They especially love rowan berries, which they swallow whole. And after a hearty meal, they like to climb higher up the tree closer to the sun and rest.
