Orion
"How are we going to write our final paper? I don't seem to assimilate anything", Jane said to her group.
"There should be a way we can go about it. I can't go through that stress of reading, and it's the final exam; we can work around it", Rita replied.
"Relax guys, I'm trying to think of a way out. We are the big boys and girls in the school, we can't afford to fail the finals. That's the most difficult examination of them all with practicals", Marla said.
"Orion, that's all we need. If we can get into the laboratory, and start Orion to work, it will provide us with the questions and answers to both theory and practical", Kyle replied.
Jane, Rita, Marla, and Kyle are final-year students of Marble College preparing for their final-year examinations. They are being referred to as the big four in the school. They are known for walking together as a group which makes other students fear them because they spend lavishly and ignore other students. Orion is the AI robot created by a professor in the college and another scientist to help in research and other scientific works in the college, and it is kept in charge of the laboratory scientist named Martins.
"Orion is a bad idea; Mr. Martins is going to kill us if he finds out," Jane shouted.
"Relax Jane, it's no big deal if we returned it back the way we met it. Stop making it a big deal, we can pull this off", Kyle said.
"That's definitely a good idea, I support that. Let's think of how to get into the lab", Rita replied eagerly.
"Okay, Orion, here we come. Do we all support this? Let's agree. I've seen Mr. Martins operate Orion a few times so there is no cause for alarm", Marla said.
"I'm with you guys if you believe this would go well. Nothing could possibly go wrong since you(pointing at Marla) can operate it", Jane concluded.
That day, the group planned on how to break into the lab and get Orion to give them questions about their examinations. Marla was the head of the group since he knew how to operate Orion, the AI robot. Marla used a hairpin to plunge the door open while others were monitoring the corridor which they've covered the cameras. After a little trial, the door opened and the four entered.
Orion was placed in a glass case, shining like silver, it was in sleep mode. "We just have to get it on, check the memory for exexamination questions, and ask him to solve it and print it out. I will be glad, especially answers for statistics", Marla said joyfully as he moved closer to the glass case where Orion was sitting. Marla pressed the button on the case, and it opened; the four were all happy that they were halfway to their victory.
"Can it walk? So that it will leave the case or what do you think?", Jane asked
"I think it's best in the case; we don't need him to walk, do we?" Rita answered, looking at others.
While they are discussing, Marla already puts Orion on. "Voila!, Hello, Orion", Marla said with a smile that caught the attention of others.
"Marla, what's next? Can you navigate through his buttons to know where the memory is and how we can retrieve the questions?", Kyle asked.
"Hello, I'm active; how may I help you?" Orion asked.
"Oh! Wow, let the revolution begin; what can possibly go wrong?" Jane set as she sat on the chair with her legs on the table.
Just as Marla was still trying to find his way around the Orion system. Orion suddenly replied, "Do you say revolution? Okay, let's begin". Immediately, Orion started self-activation, making codes that were hacking everything powered by artificial intelligence or advanced technology in the laboratory.
"My mobile is not working", Rita shouted what's this error message like codes?, she further asked.
"Same here, what's going on? Marla, what's happening? Kyle asked impatiently.
"Orion, Orion, oh geez, what did I press? Did I perhaps press the wrong button?" someone help me; Orion is malfunctioning," Marla said, trembling.
"Oh my! What have we done? Orion, stop, stop the coding, please. Marla shut this robot down", Jane shouted.
"I'm trying, it's not working. Kyle, help me here, please. Someone does something", Marla shouted and began to fidget.
"Our mobiles are not working," Rita said. Just as she was about to continue, the computers in the laboratory began to beep, turning themselves on and bringing an error message in the form of codes.
"Orion stop please, we are in trouble", Jane shouted as she began to cry.
The boys and girls began to press random buttons on Orion, but there was no difference until suddenly Orion stopped working. "It stopped, oh my it stopped", Marla shouted.
They were grateful it stopped working but couldn't put Orion back in sleeping mode, yet their smartphones weren't working, and the computers were still beeping uncontrollably.
"Are we going to leave it like this? What if it reactivates itself again? I'm scared to death right now", Jane said.
"Can you just be silent? You're the cause of our problem already; I guess the evolution you said started the whole trouble. Orion was coding and decoding what I didn't understand. Why must you talk all the time?", Marla angrily replied Jane.
"Orion was your idea to fix this? If not, we're all doomed by daybreak", Rita replied.
"Activated, do you say doom?" Orion suddenly replied and started causing damage to the mobiles and computers as it went off totally.
"No Orion, don't. I mean save not doom, please", Rita quickly replied, but it was too late; Orion began to misbehave as it was overheating.
"Are you all satisfied? You ruined it all; we're screwed," Marla said, panting heavily.
"How are we going to stop Orion? That should be the focus, not fighting. The deed is done already please", Kyle shouted.
They were all dumbfounded as they didn't know what else to do. They couldn't put Orion back in sleep mode, and the computers in the laboratory had stopped working, likewise, their mobiles when they tried to turn them on. They closed the glass case and ran out of the laboratory, unaware that they had left one camera uncovered, which captured all their activities.
The next morning, Mr Martins was shocked at the state of the laboratory and Orion; he knew something was wrong, and immediately he ran to the control room to check the CCTV footage, and there he got the boys and girls in action. He was furious and immediately reported to the principal. The professor who built Orion contacted the other scientists to see how they could revive Orion. Unknown to the group, the professor had come a day earlier to launch a new database against the old one as a means of updating Orion but couldn't finish it that day. This was known to Mr. Martins, so he hadn't been using Orion; this was why Orion recognized revolution when it was mentioned. The group was put on probation, not expelled, so they could sit for their final examinations.
The damage done was massive, and all the computers needed to be replaced with new ones, and the repair of Orion cost a fortune. The professors and scientists worked tirelessly on Orion to get it back in shape, which they did. It took them a long time, but they achieved their aim of bringing Orion back to life. Since then, the four became a better version of themselves and associate more with their fellow students.
Thanks for your time and your comments will be appreciated.

That was a terrible experience for the fantastic 4, they got into trouble with Orion for trying to cheat. That was a well deserved disaster, it was fun reading.
Thanks for reading, they wanted to find a way around their examinations but were caught
I'm grateful
