Noise pollution; a way of life in my area
Human activities are part of the factors of pollution in our environment today, causing different health hazards to humans, but regardless, we are not putting an end to all these activities that pose risks to our health. There are several types of pollution, such as air pollution, which is caused by heavy machinery in large industries, vehicle emissions, and deforestation, to mention but a few, which lead to respiratory diseases through the inhalation of carbon monoxide and global warming.
Water pollution occurs due to industrial waste, oil spills, and sewage disposal, which causes harm to sea life, such as fish, and contaminates drinking water sources, which some drink and lose their lives in the process due to poisoning. We also have land pollution, which can also be a result of deforestation, urbanization that is, the development of some local areas, chemical dumping, and inappropriate waste disposal, which depletes soil fertility and makes growing food crops or other plants on such land very difficult.
Another type of pollution, and the one being faced in my area, is noise pollution. I had just resumed school, and I had no choice but to pull up with all the noises ranging from arguments, grinding machines, aluminum machines, generators, children crying to stray dogs backing, and car horns because my house is not that far from the road. Unlike where I was coming from, which was peaceful, and it would be very difficult to hear a bird chirp unless our dogs wanted to get out of their cages and alerted us by backing. Everywhere was peaceful but here is the opposite. Although it's not so bad as they operate the machines when need be and crying children are always at school till evening. But sometimes, when there is government light, some shops blare music loud enough for me to hear in my room, which sometimes is a disturbance to me, especially when I want to rest, or I just need quiet. At that time, it becomes so unbearable, which would piss me off, but then there is nothing I can do about it.
Well, no measures have been taken to tackle this issue because everyone believes they have the right to do whatever they want with no one telling them how to go about it, even though it's inconveniencing others. Being a rural area, everyone sees themselves as a family so no one would want to correct anyone to avoid fights. I don't see this ending soon because those who have shops in the area are not thinking of giving up their shops soon, nor are those living there thinking of moving out, especially those living in their personal houses. If there would be any changes, that would be me moving out of the apartment when I'm done schooling. I can't rant so much about it because the noise pollution is not that persistent, but then no matter how little it is, it is noise pollution, which I had no choice but to cope with till I'm done schooling and just leave the area.
Thanks for your time and your comments will be appreciated.

Typical humans; our hypocrisy as a living being in God's own earth stinks. People would rather go in and grumble all in the name of peace than speak out at once and put an end to terrible circumstances. Noise pollution is a menace. Tackling it is proving evasive for now.
That's just how life is in those areas
It's understandable. One of the disadvantages of a small, closed environment. No one wants to step our of line.
