Hive: Touching lives positively

The good thing about being human is that we can impact lives positively. Although not everyone sees this as the essence of living, Lending a helping hand to those who need it should be a happy thing to do. Some people take this as their mission, and they do it passionately.

I've been on the hive for some time now, and the impact of the hive on my life is immeasurable. It has been a blessing to me in many ways. When I first joined this great community, I faced some challenges that made me nearly give up, but thanks to my onboarders for making my journey on hive a bit stress-free. I can say the hive is indeed for humanity; it is touching lives and extending helping hands to whomever needs it. The reason why many people fail to thrive is because of the wrong mentality. If you don't get the appropriate information on what you are doing or what you are about to do, you will end up not doing so well in such things.

Firstly, hive has helped me as a person to improve myself both in my English writing and speaking. I'm a Nigerian, and we are known for our funny ways of speaking English. That aside, when it comes to financial assistance, Hive has been a great help to humanity, of which I am a beneficiary. Hive is my second job that takes care of some of my bills, which makes navigating through my responsibilities a bit easier for me. Hive has been touching lives for years, and I'm glad that I am able to be one of the agents of change for humanity.

Recently, I and two other hive members went out to lend a helping hand to the less fortunate, courtesy of one of the great and kind members of the hive community who saw the need to reach out to people who needed help. This meant a lot to those that were reached out to, as it was one of the least expected things for them that day. Giving out food items is what most average Nigerians need presently because there is a high cost of food, which makes it difficult for some to eat three times in a day. But with this act of kindness, many of them were happy, as it was just like a prayer answered for most of them.

Have impacted their lives even when they are not members of this great platform. We were able to tell them something about hives, and many of them wished they had learned enough to handle writing and speaking good English themselves so that they could engage, but nevertheless, the good deeds of hives were shared with them. Everyone wants to be part of something good, and hive is a good example of a platform people should engage in, as it is not limited to financial benefits alone.

With hives, I've been able to make quite a number of friends from my country, Nigeria, and across other foreign countries such as Canada, the Philippines, Venezuela, amongst many others. It gives me a good number of connections to reach out to the world beyond my present geographical location. Hive has also increased my knowledge about writing and web3. Different activities being engaged in on web2 platforms have also been a good source of acquiring more knowledge in every area of life, not limiting it to writing or crypto alone. Hive is impacting lives positively, and that is the good news.
