Android over iOS

Many people use smartphones every day, and the two most popular ones are Android and iOS (iPhones). While both are good, I prefer Android more because it has more advantages and gives users more freedom and value for what they bought. There are lots of reasons why Android is much better than iOS. I do see iOS users lamenting on how their batteries don't last longer and how they find it difficult to do some things which Android will do in a twinkle of an eye. Some of the advantages of Android are mentioned in this post.

• More choices of phones: - Come to think of it, many phone brands, such as Samsung, Infinix, Tecno, Itel, Redmi, and so many more, use Android. This helps people to choose from many phones with different prices that suit their pocket. IPhones are expensive and made only by Apple, which makes choices limited.

• Customisation: Android is so flexible that it allows one to change the look of one's phone. Widgets can be added to the home screen; the launcher can be added and changed; likewise, themes can be downloaded. IPhones don't allow much customisation; what you see is what you get.

• Easier file sharing and app downloading – this is one of the important reasons for me using Android. It's easy for me to share and receive files from other Android phones by using Xender and other sharing apps. This doesn't stress me in any way. It is also very easy to download apps from the Play Store, unlike iPhones, which one can only download from the Apple Store. File sharing also has to do with AirDrop or so, which can be frustrating at times.

• Google services are better with Android: it is easy to navigate Google services such as Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Assistant. These are important apps one uses daily; they are faster and more efficient on Android than iOS devices.

Android gives more freedom, choices, and more features for less money. It works for everyone without discrimination; it's not only for people who can afford expensive phones. There is a phone available for you as much as you have in your hands. This is why Android is preferred over iOS for some people, including myself. Android gives room for flexibility and improvement in technology. There is the development of Android phones that can fold; I haven't seen iOS like that. IOS devices bring competition; you will see iPhone users checking the backs of the phones of their friends or colleagues to see how many cameras they have to know the grade of the iPhone – maybe it is higher than theirs or lower. All these are not relevant among Android users; no one cares about the type of Android phone the other person is using. Android brings less competition, and it gives peace.
