One Memorable Night: Enjoying Street Food at Alabang Night Market after Work
Hi fellow hivers, good eve! It's me again Raqii. I want to share my night.
After work, me and my one sister meet at Night Market to have some street foods before going home. I was the one who came first because she said that it was traffic. I don't mind because it was common in our country. While waiting for her, I enjoying watching and looking for foods. It's not our first time here, so many times that we come here but that was last year.
We went to stall to stall to check what we could be eat. We buy kwek-kwek (it was egg coated in orange flour and it was delicious when dip in sweet sauce or vinegar), fishball and mango graham shake for our drinks.
While eating, me and my sister talked about our day at work. It was nice because we bond again this day.
(The food we buy and eat)
After eating we rest a bit and walk towards terminal (where every kind of vehicle located - jeepney, van and bus) to go home. While walking I took some pictures of stall beside the terminal and the road (that is why some of the pictures are blurred) and it was so many people. Im not usually seeing this bacause my time out in work is 5pm and I go straight to terminal to go home. But there was a times like this (6pm to 8pm), it was rush hour that is why so many people (it was time where most people time out in their work).
When we arrived at the terminal, the line was long. Luckily, we don't wait too long to get in jeepney. We waited maybe 15 to 20 minutes because sometimes when you caught up by the rush hour, we usually waited 45 minutes to 1 hour for the jeep and it is still depend on weather and date 😅 When it rains, jeeps are few and more people which will result to long line and long waiting.
After we ride on jeepney (it was like a car but big and with one wide window on each side and they say that it can only see/ride here in our country, nexttime i will took a picture of it and post it here so that others not familiar with it, they can have a picture to see) and become full, the collector collects our payment. When it was done, the jeepney started to leave. I was sleeping the whole trip 😅 I don't know why I'm so sleepy when riding vehicles, maybe it feels like a swing to me 😅
(Our turn to ride on jeepney after a long line 😅)
(When we are inside the jeepney - front seat)
I am happy because after a exhausted day, my sister invited me to eat at night market which we rarely do today. It was one memorable night for me because it helps me to relax for a bit. That small talk to my sister was a big help to regain my strength again to face tomorrow. This is all for tonight, thank you guys for reading my blog 🥹 I am so happy that I want to share it with you now. Keep safe every one, stay loved and positive.
Please note that all pictures are personally captured and the first photo was edited in canva.
Happy night! Seeing you post I'm craving now of street foods, especially kwek kwek. Your sister's bonding is most special, I amazed with your patience to wait Jeep in terminal. That's a reality here in our Country. Always take care in your daily trip going home.
I'm sorry for the cravings hihi.
Yes, we have no choice but to wait or else we cannot go home 😂 But we was lucky tonight because we don't wait longer that usual time when rush hour 😂
Thank you, keep safe too. Stay loved and positive ☺️

I also love kwek-kwek, taste really good when dipped in vinegar with a little chili. Fishballs are always a favorite too, And that mango graham shake perfect after a long day. Here in the Philippines, you can really find street food everywhere no matter where you go there’s always something delicious and affordable. Foods like this are simple but special.
Yes, so many street foods here. Fishball, kikiam, kwek-kwek saka calamares 🤤 so yummy 😅
