Tough call, but shorting during a liquidation event like this can pay off if timed right. Historically, markets often retest lows before a real bounce, just as you mentioned. Gotta watch the leverage though—too much risk can burn fast

I have learned the hard way that this shorts should be tactical and for a limited period of time.
Smart move keeping those shorts tactical. Overextending on time or leverage during volatile swings can wipe out gains fast. I've seen that trap catch too many traders before.
