No coffee/caffeine until marathon…. Day 1
Normally 12-16 cups of coffee / day - now 0.
First 2.5h (where I normally drink 4-6) went fine.
Long day at the office ahead.

Damn is there a benefit of skipping caffeine before a long race?
caffeine actually helps but only if it is not in your system. Otherwise you need real access usage.
So the idea is to clean my diet next 2 weeks, stacks carbs last week and use energy gels (with caffeine) during.
