A Trip From My Shop To Ile Epo Market.

The protest happening in Nigeria kept so many people indoors. That’s because everyone has learned a lesson from what happened during the ENDSARS protest. If you haven’t heard about it, you can check it out. It even resulted to a massacre which was aired on CNN television.
This means that protest in Nigeria is always a very tough one so the best thing to do is stay indoors so you would not put your lives at risk.
But what about we that have important things to do outside? We just have to step out.
I’ve been lacking some goods in my shop for days and I haven’t been to the market since a week. I wanted to go to the market yesterday but I had to stay safe because of the protest but I felt the best thing is to go very early today’s morning.

I woke up very early today and moved from command to Ile Epo market to buy some of my goods. I took pictures for us to see what the vicinity looks like.
I boarded a tricycle this morning in my way to the market.

I know you can still see some people on the road but at the same time, you can still see some people on the road. Everyone is just trying to stay safe and I would not blame them.

When I got to the market, I had to wait there for about thirty minutes in a customer’s place for other people to open their shops. After twenty five minutes, some people started coming to the market and it was getting full but not full to the point of not having to pass because that’s how it normally happens. Let’s have a look at what the market looks like.

Everywhere just look empty and we were all expecting chaos to happen anytime soon because we know how things can be. I was so scared there and I didn’t even wait to buy all of the things that I need in the market. I just bought a few things and I left the rest.
Some market women also came but they made sure not to put out so many of their goods so they can easily pack their goods if anything goes wrong. Let’s take a look at how they shaded their goods.
It’s just a way of displaying their goods to you’d know what they sell so let’s have a look…

The rain fell while going back home but I was inside the tricycle so I didn’t get wet.
The journey from Ile Epo market to my shop is just ten minutes. I enjoyed the trip because everywhere was cold. I’d love to show you the goods I went to buy since that was my reason for going to the market.

That’s all about my trip to the market for today. I hope you’re able to get familiar with a typical Lagos market and I hope to share more with when it is fully opened.
