This writing really brings up valid concerns about this huge wedding culture. Do you think there's really any way that would balance tradition with modern expectations that too without overspending? How the couples will be able to ensure their wedding reflects their values and culture without succumbing to societal pressures?

I doubt if there is really a way to balance tradition with modern expectations without breaking the bank, modern expectations are high and to meet up one must go beyond their regular limits.
