Childhood lies : that makes life more enjoyable
Lets suppose ,some matured people is asked if you get a chance to go past then which period of your life want to go. Then I am sure most of the people would say it’s the childhood. As childhood is such a time which is filled with huge wonder and power of imagination. In where our innocence and lack of the knowledge often make us susceptible to believing in such things that actually not exist . As children, often we easily trust the words of people who are around us, especially our parents and close relatives, who are supposed to be the guardians of truth and knowledge by default. However, as soon as we grow up, we realize that some of the things that many people told us or we believed strongly were not entirely true. Sometimes this give us a feeling of cute shame of our innocence.
Here is lie that I was told even it is one of the most common childhood lies that many of us were told. That is the existence of the tooth fairy. In my childhhod, my parents told me that if i place my lost teeth under the pillow I use then a fairy would come to at night and will leave some money in exchange for the tooth. And so I did and was so much curious about that. One day my one teeth was broken than I kept it under my pillow. Atfirst I was not so convinced but the next morning when I cheaked under my pillow I was astonished. There was some coins. I was shocked for a while. So I believed it throughout my soul. And I also told my friends with faith. Many of them believed also. Some were confused.
Then for many days I believed it. But as time passes I got to know that it was a myth.Actually my parents kept the coins under the pillow. But it doesn’t hurt me . It is still one the most cute moment of my life.
As we grew up, we realized that there was many things that we were told was not right actually. This realization may not have had a significant impact on our lives, but it did make us question other things that we had been told, and it made us more doubtful of things that seemed too good to be true.
Another common childhood lie that many of the Cristian child were told is that Santa Claus is real. Same thing also happened to my Cristian friends. They were told that if theywere good, santa would come on Christmas Eve and leave presents from them under the tree. This lie was presented by parents and caregivers, who would go to great lengths to create the illusion of Santa, from leaving out milk and cookies to creating fake footprints in the snow.
So as we grew older we all realized that Santa Claus was not real and that was just a another story that adults told us to make the holiday season more enjoyable magical. Actually is it so bad? Definitely not.
However, some childhood lies can have a more significant impact on our lives. For example, some children are told that if they are not good enough is study, they will never achieve their dreams. All know its not true. Study is important but not the only way to be successful. These lies can have a lasting impact on their self-esteem and can prevent them from pursuing their goals and aspirations. This lies help us to be consistent.
I grew up to find out that Santa Claus was a way to get me to be on my best behavior as a child.
I guess it worked.
Yeh thats helped in many way.
thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Our parents were legend when it came to lies honestly.
definitely
thanks for stopping by
They ripped us with that Santa Cluz stuff. Mehn I used to be gentle when it comes to the December period so that I can have some presents from Santa.
If you misbehave, you won't receive any gift, our parents cheated on us too much 😃😃
