Splinterlands: Player or Collector, you will like these new foils.

Have you saved the date of 22nd April for yourself? If not, then you should do it to take part in Splinterland's Presale starting on the 22nd April. If some one ask what is the unusual in the current Splinterland's presale? Splinterland's already launched 5 core set earlier and now the 6th one is coming. As we understand and as expected , it should be having new cards and new abilities . These new cards and abilities will give birth to new strategies in the game. Some new strategies will be created with new abilities and using the mix of upcoming new cards or the existing cards.

So, all of this is obvious, so what is new in this release?

Black Foil, Black Foil Arcane and Gold Foil Arcane.

I guess first question will comes to your mind that what exactly is the Arcane

Here is twist come in the Splinterland's gameplay as Arcane will be a new type of Summoners that will summon elements based on bloodline (or understand it as abilities) irrespective of which element it will be belonging.

Now the concept of Arcane is clear, let jump into the concept of Black Foil, A very new foil that will be introduced in the upcoming Conclave Arcana set. Black Foil will be the max level card that can be used in lieu of the Gold Foil cards. But what makes them interesting is that they have "Collectible numbers" , Since these were be already max level cards, they do not require combining and nor you will be able to do so.

Apart from a collectible number they will be coming with below perks..

+20% Reward bonus in ranked battles
Half the cooldown of Gold Foil cards in Survival Mode
5x the DEC burn value, Collection Power, and Contribution in Conflicts of Gold Foils
5x base Production Point multiplier (same as Beta cards)

Simply, if you are a player, Not only having these card in battle field increase your rewards if you win a battle but also if you do not want to use the card in battle, then you can use it on your land. Also Black Foil, Black Foil Arcane and Gold Foil Arcane have a collectible number, so there market value is also going to be immense.

My 2 cents.

In my view , Arcane cards in the Conclave Aracana set are definitely going to enhance the gameplay in the Splinterlands. If someone really in the tactical and strategical game play, then Conclave Aracana's current set do provide this opportunity, irrespective of you being an old player ,returning player, or a new player.

Black Foil , Black Foil Arcane and Gold Foil Arcane give a very strong collectible value to the Conclave Arcana set and will incentivize players to go for it. Since these cards are of immense value, so they will obviously be very rare to obtain.
