This milestone is expected to come in Janurary 2026, because when I powered up my Hive for First HPUD of the year 2026, I was very close to this milestone. It put me still a step closer to my goal of the 150K Hive power as a long-term goals in the coming years, and for the immediate goal is to reach 50K Hive power before the end of the day of Janurary 1, 2027. Though due to some constraints, I am serious about this goal, but will not be committing to this goal as I already have some real life scenarios and I am in a confused state about what I should prioritize.

Though I have loved my time in Hive and I seriously consider it is as some kind of my retirement fund. I continued to stake up my Hive and I do stake more Hive than I have earned Hive from Authors and curation rewards. But the way Hive keep on dipping is not boosting my confidence at all. The way all the Hive Engine tribes tanked or abandoned the project is another serious concern.
Another suggestion is to have my income staked in HBD. stablecoin in Hive Blockchain. I consider this is a good option but I am looking for time frame for the next fifteen years. If Hive worth is still not determined then I suspect that stable coin lying on this chain will be maintaining same value and witness keep allowing to have the same APR going on for HBD.

In side note, as a social media, my time on Hive is actually more rewarding than any other social media. This actually raises different question that how you are using Hive and what are your end goals. If I take Hive as a platform where I am spending spare time that I will be using in other platform, then my time spent here is very rewarding. But if I am using it as side hustle and wondering that one day my Hive stake and other earning activities in Hive ecosystem(like playing games, curation rewards and author income) will able to support me than it become little dubious.

Also, when I look on the KE system, downvotes war on post rewards then it look to me that majority whale consensus is that Hive should be your Hobby and beer money and it should not become your income on which your livelihood depends.

With time, Hive inflation decreases, your curation will generate less Hive for the same stake, Author rewards pool will shrink with it, and Hive price is not increasing then your rewards in fiat value are decreasing with each passing day. The Hive decreasing inflation is not balanced by equal positive price action then I guess it can trigger a death spiral as lesser taker of Hive further pushing price of Hive further down.

I have no idea, whether I am thinking is correct or not and in short term I am expecting no issues in Hive. Actually for coming year I am expecting bullishness in SPS and wondering that will cause user to join splinterland's and ultimately find Hive as their home. More user cause more demand of Hive, and ultimately, the price action in the Hive.
